A health organization which is member-run and governed by a board of directors. Individual and small business insurance coverage is provided by co-ops.

Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Payments

Program that allows hospitals to receive additional funding if they treat a large number of Medicaid-covered or uninsured patients.
